A normal little middleaged chinese working man, show his normal boring day with boring papers at a little boring office.
He is hearing some silent chatter & rumours at other cubicles & office rooms without looking up at who is talking. He goes out at lunch break, eating from a small & greasy paper box while doing some errands, reading some newspaper, trying to hear little of news report on a muted radio behind a counter at a small dirty shop.
At the end of his work day, he packs some things that he will be bringing home in white plastic bags.
Outside his office he hears noise and feels the rumble in the pavement.
His road is closed by uniformed persons, he must leave his bicycle there and continue walking around Temporary fences that is hastily being put up.
The roar of engines is growing into thunder as Wang Wei-Li is walking out onto Tian-an Men Square, and faces the tanks...
he simply couldn't sneak back into the alley, into safety...
out of harms way was too long to go to leave the students & his countrymen in the tents on the square.
He couldnt let go of his white plastic bags or his thoughts.
Could not do anything but react alone with instinct for humanity...
...did he ever arrive home?
...Is he still alive, and safe somewhere?

(is this a good script idea for a short animation?)
(I was thinking about making a novel competition of his day, up until that famous photograph)
