A post apocalyptic world where the undead walk with the living. It started out as an infection in several highly populated areas around the globe. They tried to contain it, but failed. The infection arose when the world was distracted by an impending danger of a third world war as tensions with the united states and iran turned nuclear. While the human race was distracted, Damian (the son of the devil) crawled through cracks in the earth to distribute a toxin of his own creation. The toxin was the key to what some people would call "zombies". Many turned into them, while others either committed suicide or just tried to survive. While the world and the heavens were completely oblivious to Damian's plans. The story settles on a man who lost everything to the infection. He lost his wife, kids, and everything he held dear to him. A man who no longer had emotions. The only thing he felt was anger, and sought out for revenge. The day he lost his family, they were stranded on the roof of the network building his wife had worked at. when the infected finally broke through the door, he tried to protect them as best as he could. He slayed the first dozen that swarmed through the door, but they were outnumbered. as he smashed the skulls of the infected, his son had been bitten. The look in his son's eyes sparked a rage like no other. As his children were being attacked, he tried his best to get to them, but just didn't make it in time, they had turned into the infected. His own children were trying to kill him. He no longer had sight of his wife, just his kids. As the lunged for him, he jumped backward. Now he was on the ledge of the rooftop. he didn't want this fait for him, or his kids. So he grabbed them both, while they were biting at his arms, and leaped off the edge. When he hit the ground, there was just a large flash of white around him which quickly faded to black. He awoke in a strange place that he had never seen before. It was as hot as being in an oven. He looked around, an saw hundreds of people walking toward a gate. He stood up and followed. When he got to the gate, a horned beast greeted him. He asked the beast where he was, and the beast told him he was in hell. He asked why he was in hell, because he was an every Sunday, church going man. The beast said he was there for killing his children and committing suicide. He refused to accept the fact that he would have to spend an eternity in hell. So he escaped after 6 months. While he was there, he learned of Damian's plans. He was planning to obtain an army of immortals. As soon as he had gotten enough of the infected in the land of the mortals (earth), he was going to activate the key in the toxin. It causes all of those that are infected to change into his immortal army. They grow wings out of their backs, and speed, agility, and stamina are drastically increased. The only way to kill them is to stop Damian before he activates the key in the toxin, or cut of the head of Damian with his own sword. After he escapes from hell, he is approached by a man. This man was wise and powerful. It was him, the Messiah. He started to train him for the next few months on defeating Damian. They are held up in a compound with hundreds of other men and women. He was building an army to prepare for the battle that was soon to come, with the man who went through hell and back right by his side. The Messiah knew what the odds were, and they did not look good. Meanwhile, Damian had sent out 2 bounty hunters to bring the man back to hell. They attacked the compound, killing 1/3 of their men. The man had been able to fight them off and send them away, only with the power and weapons he had stolen during his daring escape from hell. He now knows it is too risky for him to stay with he compound any longer and decides to leave, and seek wisdom deep in the Himalayas from Buddhist monks who were untouched by the infection due to their location within the mountains. After being there for 5 years, they give him an artifact that they had been keeping for centuries. They were only to give it to the one foretold by the prophecy. The prophecy talks about one who loses everything and escaped the grip of death himself. He then returns to what used to be the united states by boat. He heads to the deserts of Nevada, and waits. He calls upon Damian to come and fight himself instead of sending bounty hunters. He arrives through cracks in the ground and they begin to fight. When the man has the upper hand, and is about to deliver the final shot to Damian, Damian pulls an object from his vest and uses it to call upon the key in the toxin to come out. The entire infected population around the globe turns into the immortals. All of them within a radius of 100 miles swarms toward them to defend Damian. The man sees that he is no match, and tries to fight them off. He kills some by cutting off their heads, but there is just too many of them. He is surrounded, and is sure to die, when out of nowhere, the Messiah and an army of thousands of men and women swarms the demons and save the man. They than greet each other and plan an attack on the underworld. In the past 5 years since the man had been gone, the Messiah had gathered a few thing from his father in order to help defeat evil and tyranny. He had a gantlet that would rip a hole in the earth, and make a path to the underworld. He had also acquired several weapons that would do great damage on the demons. A great battle waged on as many on both sides fell and died. The man and the Messiah had broken through the barricade and entered Damian's chamber. They began a fight that would never be forgotten. While a war went on outside, they fought to cut off the head of Damian and show it to his followers. Damian had also gained strength. They were beating him at first, but than he drank something out of a vile that caused him to double in size and his elbows turned to blades that could cut through steel as if it were butter. He picked up the man and threw him into the stone walls. His legs were broken, and he couldn't feel his arms. He layed there in pain while the Messiah continued to fight. Damian Picked him up by his throat and squeezed tightly until his head popped off. As the man watched the Messiah's head roll onto the floor, he saw his eyes, and it reminded him of his son. It sparked rage and anger hidden deep inside him. he heard a voice and his legs began to heal and feeling in his body came back. he got up as Damian walked away, thinking that he won. He grabbed the artifact that the monks had given him out of his pocket and read the encryption on the side while slowly walking toward Damian. Damian turned around and charged at him while he just kept slowly walking toward Damian. When Damian was a few yards away, he finished reading and smashed the artifact on the ground. A large cloud emerged from the smashed pieces of glass and engulfed Damian in the smoke. When he emerged through the smoke, he was mortal, he was human. Now it was an even match. They fought for a while until Damian had the man pinned down. He drove a shard of glass into the man's chest. The man just laughed. Damian was confused and angry. The man's blood surrounded his body and he pulled something out from under him. It was Damian's sword, he had been laying on it. With his dying strength, he hit Damian off of him and got up. He told Damian, "You can't kill the soul of a man, if his soul died long ago". He thrust the sword through Damian's Neck, and picked up his head. He staggered out of the door and held it up for everyone to see, and than he fell. There was a bright flash of light, but this time it didn't fade away. He arose in the clouds, and walked to the gate.
