I've lived 38 summers and 37 winters. Worked professionally as theatre practitioner since 1995. I've got an idealistic and craftsoriented approach to acting and the arts. I'm in that respect from a lineage tradition partaining to Jerzy Grotowski, Eugenio Barba and Ingemar Lindh. Which in Norway has manifested in Grenland Friteater. I don't do commercials. I'm oriented towards spiritual aspects of life (pertaining particularly to Vajrayana and mystical christianity, and the re-emergence of shamanic practices). I'm profoundly inspired by philosophers like Deleuze and Guattari, Roland Barthes, Paul Virillio and Michel Foucault among others. I'm a good guy with a streak of darkness, a wizard-like actor, operating on the thresholds; I took a masters degree in theatre practice at the turn of the millenium, exploring in particular the phenomena of liminality, associated with ritual and transformations of reality-perception on a collective level, in combination with applied semiotics (symbol, sign, etc.). I've had an almost obsessive-like interest in this, that may have made me be mostly focused on own productions and rather few others; I have had a strong impetous for valueing continuity. In addition I've had a knowledge basis, in regard of perspectives on the politics of body, signapplication, media etc., that has made me in a less degree approaching film, entertainment, media, and spheres of fame. I'm now in a transition period where it seems to me that working with film is approaching. I'm looking forward to it.
