The democratic tool is a project to create an effective handbook in how to use the Internet as a democratic tool, so far it has been written through a blogspot blog.
A lot of it is already written, but it needs more information as well as to be translated from Swedish into English.
One of the goals is to make a compressed introductory version to give out as brochures as this handbook's target demographic is mostly people who still thinks that the internet is merely the latest toy for young people.
This project was started a year ago in the throes of the Swedish FRA law. It was clear that our legislators didn't understand the net and how it has come to be the birth of concepts such as grassroot lobbyism. It was started with the hope that a sizeable enough portion of Swedish voters would learn enough about the wonders of the net so that the government and parliament could no longer ignore the transparency it can entail.
However, I had a hard time finding contributors to help me refine the handbook and was about to give up. But then I thought I could put it up on Wreckamovie, and it is worth a shot.
