Its painful. Its unbearable. He is watching himself dying.A soft background voice "The prince shall die the most painful death man has ever known. You will beg for death and yet death will not come unto you." . Suddenly a soft hand touches Prince's face and he awakes up, realizing that he was having a bad dream..
These nightmares have been bothering prince for quite some time now and he finally decides to put an end to it.He then meets a beautiful but blind ( although she is blind yet she could see many things which other people couldn't ) witch ( the one whose voice was in his dreams ). The witch tells him that his nightmares are real and there is only one way he could change his fate. However, " Anyone who has walked that path , has never returned. For there is no coming back." In spite of her warnings, prince decides to change his fate.
The prince then embarks on a journey which takes him to places unseen and unknown to man.No eye can see and no mind can imagine, the perils that prince faces. The prince fights his worst fears and his most horrible memories. He has to kill himself in order to save himself from dying. He must not give up, for now not only his fate relies on him but the fate of whole kingdom.
On the journey prince meets creatures like flying butterfly women, mermaids, centaurs, minotaurs, human spiders, 8-legged lion, and numerous others. He gets caught in a time cycle which repeats over and over again, placeing prince on the same place after covering such a long distance. He must find a way to break that time cycle. On the way, he finds himself face to face with himself, and none could go forward while the other is still alive.
The film contains environments and creatures that are fantastic and well designed and textured, from sky-kissing mountains to the caves under the depth of the sea.
