Closing Note

We ended up purchasing two FullHD lcd monitors for editing, so the production was able to go on uninterrupted.

Description

Nothing is free these days, except for goodwill. At the same time, it is especially expensive. Go figure.

But anyway, completing this movie still requires some stuff we haven't been able to acquire ourselves. For example, some high definition video and high fidelity audio monitors would be nice.

As an anecdote, we still haven't seen most of our footage at the native resolution (FullHD 1080p) it was filmed at. Pretty ironic, huh?

For real, even any ideas and suggestions on where to find the stuff are met with warm greetings.

Hi, and welcome Misty Friday guys and gals! Glad to have you aboard.

We at Energia would love to help if there is something we can do equipmentwise. We have fullHD editing and viewing possibilities and we're working with Adamantiumstudios (http://www.adamantiumstudios.com/) who have produced audio for us. They have professional audio equipment and skills plus they are fun guys.

Could you post here a list of equipment / resources you need so we can see what we can do about it?

Where are you located and where do you do your filming and editing? There might be some film groups in your neighbourhood who could offer help also.

For the most part, we shoot around the capital area (Helsinki + suburbs). Yes, there are many other film groups and for example Biisonimafia has proposed a "equipment ring" so that teams can borrow special equipment to each other.

The biggest need at the moment are perhaps high def displays and hifi audio systems, although there's no rush. The actual editing will not begin until November or December.

Good to know we have options when the need arises.
