Closing NoteThat's done, now we need the film poster. DescriptionEverywhere, on ships, in building and in teh street there are Pirk posters.
We need a poster that will be on the bridge of all ships (except the Potkustart) to remeber the troops who is the boss here (and holds the remote to remote selfdestruction). Could be a picture and a text like "Pirk is watching you" or "Remeber the remote selfdestruction" or "Pirk is everywhere". The one for ships needs to be higher than wide, so that its fit in that illuminated booth:

Else where (like in the corrdor) there are other poster which can promote other P-Fleet stuff. Also there could be some ads in which Pirk is selling stuff (money is needed) Could be like this one: I've attached the pics and the ravenlogo in a zip-file.

Little humor this time, I'm afraid, but spot the Kalinka in the one with ships. BTW, I was really tempted to follow Angelas lead to do a "There's No Peace without P" -poster with adult diapers, but just barely avoided to go there. There has to be a limit, darn it! Wetting your bed is no laughing matter, even in space, where that stuff'll just float back up right into your face...

A poster for the bridgeAs requested, here's one Pirk motivational poster for the bridges of the ships. Comments would be highly appreciated. Native English speakers, please help me out! Is it 'posted to' or 'at' or 'in' or what!? And is 'scrubbing' a real word? The old reliable google failed to help me this time. BTW the wreckamovie.com is buggin out badly today. I can't seem to get this shot through. I hope it turns out well.

Martin's right, it's a bit too long. I would abbreviate it to something like: "Stay sharp or it's double latrine duty!" ("latrine duty" is the military term for cleaning toilets) The English is right, if slightly clunky, probably something like "Do your part or it's ship scrubbing duty!" Finnish version done. Translating that to Finnish would be a tall order. I'm in the English mode, but i'll try to get Finnish again;) "Pirk tarkkailee sinua!" "Tee työsi, tai sinut siirretään hangaariin alusten hinkkaamispalvelukseen." Looks cool.

Great idea and great execution. Expert photoshop work, too. If you want any original poster with all the layers and graphical dingsbums, wreckmail me and i'll post them on the internets (and no, there's no layer ready for bloodsucking napkins).. Anyways, how are periods in space? Do they have moonperiods like moondates? In our production use the word "Dingsbums" to point at anything you don't know the word or you're too lazy to remember it. My sister will make the comment about that poster... The official term is "sanitary towel" but bloodsucking nappy is pretty good... :) Just so you know, I just called it blood sucking nappies because I don't know the proper English word for them. Anyway, really well made poster! I love the bloody humour of it. Umm... well it was a rewashable towel, and I didn't actually sew it on. But it made a nice photo, in a twisted sort of way. So you sewed it onto a, whatever those bloodsucking nappies are called? Woo, you did it! Excellent. :) I should add that I suggested the phrase but wasn't expecting Angela to put actual blood on the poster... :D (In case anyone's wondering how this began, I bought a raven sew-on patch from the Star Wreck store and tried to find some clothes and accessories to customise with it...)  CommentsI have that under construction, but it's complicated and i have lot of stuff underway. It'll involve delicious meatballs, and Pirk's knuckles with tattooed or sharpied "Eat balls"... Only thing, i have to condense that to 8 knuckles somehow. Power-hungry and chauvinist - the Pirk we love and (mostly) hate. He wouldn't say that to his own crew! :) Well... not unless they said something rude about him... ;) Lightballs - Have Some! Erm... what's on the poster then? :) This is PIRKKAAAAAAAThis is what you get for photoshopping at 3am... Suggestions and critique welcomed. - The P-fleet chicks poster would work differently with an alternate tagline. It could be easily turned into a recruitment poster or a motivational poster for the hetero boys in the fleet. Tagline ideas, dear wreckers? - Ditto with the fleet poster. What kind of fleet motivational posters could they have on board? - Would the Sparta one be funnier with Spartaaaa = more "a"'s in the end?

Heh, the "this is pirkka" poster could be a GREAT ad for the "Äpy" - a humor magazine published each 1st of May by the students of Otaniemi's University of Technology. They always have the weirdest and most perverted ads, and with the company's approval! Y'know I didn't notice the falafels and chocolate when I first saw the poster... Oh dear... :D The Pirkka poster is yeah LOL lack of better words ... This is Pirkka???????????? LOL! There are actually a surprising number of blokes taking their shirts off in Star Wreck, it's quite a balanced film in that respect. And, y'know... Sergei Fukov is one of the sexiest characters ever created. Fabienne and Kris: Half-naked athletic men... Hmm... Sure, but i doubt you'll find any at the Energia office - emhasis on "athletic";) I have a lot of posters in the pipeline. Keep the suggestions coming, I get a lot of inspiration from that! And who knows, your idea may end up on the wall.. "It could be easily turned into a recruitment poster or a motivational poster for the hetero boys in the fleet. " ...and gay girls. "Would it be possible to have also some half-naked athletic men on the poster for the female audience????" Yeah, that would make it a bit more politically correct. :D But would they be "property of pirk" too? :) Who knows, maybe he is more broad-minded than we think... That's almost like he was trying to be Father Christmas... :) The look is definitely influenced by old propaganda posters. The color scheme is a mix between fascist and commie looks. And this was during an era Stalin was more likely writing execution orders than fanmail... Peter - I'd like to create an uniform "Join the production" -vignette i could use on all my posters (and one others could use as well). I'll see if i have time during the weekend to get it done. I'm still waiting for a printable version of the WAM logo. I don't want it to be pixelated and cheap looking on the posters. Yes, the colours are good. They're also quite like the colours in propaganda posters of the 1930 and 1940s, which fits in with Pirk's rise to power. Great Design! Love the color selection too: 'neutral yet enticing...' Great stuff! These would make great wall papers too! Maybe we could add the "Join the production at http://wreckamovie.com/star-wreck-2pi" as well and start posting these everywhere;-) Great stuff. Now I'm gonna kill some more time with Samuli's contrubutions. Great stuff! Love your ideas. The cutout effect works well on the lower one. If you want them to look more professional, you should find a font that works in big size. Now the text is unreadable unless there's a extreme closeup shot. I always try to stay away from Windows standard fonts, 'cause they are so overused and bland. Some free fonts can be found at http://www.1001freefonts.com/ PSD files would be great. print away, if you want larger versions. let me know and I'll up the psd files. Great! Makes me want to print them out and go out and spread some propaganda.
