New version of the MyWreck Dashboard

Here it is. I'm thinking that there's much stuff on one page, but it would be cool for each title to be expandable, so that you could close them if you don't think you are interested on them, and it could remember your preferences.

Communications

I think the most important thing on Dashboard is the communications that are going on all over the site and have something to do. Therefor here's my shot, where on the first thing you see after login is:

What people have been commenting on your shots

and last

What new things there are to do on WAM

Let me explain step by step what I thought about dashboard page

1. Your profile picture. It's good to run through the whole mywreck page, making it feel personal and close to you. Like a mirror.

2. A short 'hi'-message, with a sum-up of what's going on in two sentences.

3. Messages-box. This is, propably, the most important thing for communications, although I don't expect people to use this way of messaging together too much. But if somebody does, it's good to be first one up there. Also, it's a good and easy start to go through your daily Wreckings.

FUNCTIONALITIES:
Go to your inbox: opens in a new tab of your Inbox. My big idea is that you can easilly open all the relevant things to tabs, and then run through them.
Mark as read is also important, since it might turn out that there is some spamming going on, like there is in many socnet sites, and if you easilly see that this is just spam crap going on, you can click this button and you don't have to go through everything by yourself. This is what I've been cursing in several sites lately...
Tickboxes: The tickboxes operate as follows. You go through your list, and you can mark everything read or delete messages or put tasks to your to-do, and when you've done, you can push 'refresh list', and it re-opens dashboard with the changes you've done,

4. Comments on shots
This is the one thing that most people are interested on: what do other people think of my work, and even more, what does the production leader think of my shot. Therefor, comments for shots must be the second most important thing on the list. The list is moving from personal to less personal - where as personal messages are most personal, this one is second stage etc.

5. Tasks on productions
This is the place where you can find interesting new stuff to do. It's least personal but needs to be on the dashboard for further activation. So how I think the general user process to be on dashboard is that first you check your email, then you check what other have thought of your stuff, and then you start working on new stuff.

6. Edit profile-button. Just takes you to my profile page with editing open.

7. News. Just the topics, good to be on this one, although nobody ever reads the news...
