Hitler Cloned

In 1970 when the remains were exhumed secret operatives took some of those remains in order to determine Hitler's DNA. His DNA was seperated or so they thought. They were then able to and grew a new adult Hitler with their technological advances and intelligent yet crazy scientists. There were a few hiccups. One being that the DNA was mixed with Eva Braun so although the adult hitler looks like him he has some, female characteristics which his handlers try to hide (boobs) and his uncanny need to smoke, wear makup and sunbath nude. All which were Eva habits which Hitler actually hated.

Sub plot' The ufo abductions all across america were carried out by the moon nazis looking for the american GI gene that beat them in WII.

Twinkle Star

This is a scene idea. Possible an opening one:

There is an empty space. Black, some stars. Very peaceful. All you can hear is some well known music. A bit same thing than they used in the 2001 Space Odyssey movie.

This time song is not Strauss but well known kid´s lullaby: Twinkle twinkle little star:

Soon you can find a small twinkling star on the set. It gets bigger and bigger. It´s a german beer bottle or similar slowly rotating object left behind from Moon nazis. The object gets closer and finally fill the whole screen. Camera follows the object while it fly by and turning reveals something important for the story: A moon, a space ship etc or an satellite which the bottle etc hits.

Thinking of Part 2!

You know, there are still some really Nazi-Fans out there who for sure won´t like that the Nazis in your movie will loose at the end of the movie. So, my idea is that you make a second ending. Let´s say, the first ending could be the normal one (the good guys win like always), but the second ending could be that at least some Nazis escape and so you could make an "open door" for a second part! They could escape, for examle to Mars! What you think?

My second idea is: We all know, that Hitler made suicide. But wait a minute! Until now nobody could find his body. So, why not put Hitler on the moon. Ok, he would be very old now. - Normally. But I researched a little bit and it´s really true that Hitler was working with black magik. So, why not make that possibility that he found the way of never getting older again. At least, if you make part 2, he could appear again! You remember, the Star Wars movie? Darth Vader returned on the next part! Why Hitler not? I know, you finished already filming the first part, but if Hitler doesn´t appear in the first part, let´s do the second part with him! Would be fascinating!

Real World Reference

Don't know if it already came up:
Maybe you could manage to get fully built ISS as a digital model to get destroyed during the invasion as a reference to real life since it should be finished in 2011 and be operated until 2020 it would still be "around".
Since there will be a bunch of announcements over ISS if it gets finished by December 2011 it you could get it as a cultural reference - if you manage to get Iron Sky finished by that time.

Making of IronSky book

I am not sure, if anyone has suggested that before, but after watching the progress of the film in "Directors Diary" clips and seeing something about different phases of it in media and here on wreckamovie and on websites seeing the wonderful photos from Frankfurt and Australia shooting and reading about the adventures, it would be nice to read a book telling the story of "Making of IronSky". memoirs of director, actors and other crew as they saw it happen.

Timing

What would be the best time for an attack? That question has been on my mind. Weekends and holidays are the traditional time because that's when people, military and civilian, are out of town or at home.

But there is another time that would lend itself beautifully to comedy. April 1. April Fool's Day, which happens to fall on a Sunday in 2018.

Imagine it's April Fool's Day and the Pentagon calls an emergency press conference. They announce the appearance of mysterious objects in the sky coming from the moon. They show a satellite photograph of a saucer bearing a Nazi swastika. The press treat it as a joke and refuse to believe it. It even becomes the butt of late night TV jokes. It inspires countless Youtube parodies. In the morning, the president and his cabinet have breakfast in the White House and a very frustrated general is trying to convince them it wasn't a joke. As the president says that the joke has gone on long enough and starts to dress down the general, saucers appear in the window behind him, filling the sky. Or you could have a bunch of astronomers discover the oncoming Nazis and again everyone thinks it's just an April Fool's joke.

The Nazis are not alone on the moon

Whats happen, if the nazis are not alone on the moon? Imagine, there are for example "natives" or local partisans (i.e. communist sons/daughters of the nazi-parents), who want them also kick away :)

This could be create:
- second war front for the nazis in the movie (-> more action, diversification, chance for black humor.)
- for the us-president a chance to cut the nazi-supply/logistics on the moon

Greenscreen patches as merch/ltd.edition item..

As I've seen the large greenscreens on the picture today, I remembered the blog video where you were testing cheap materials to use them for this purpose.
Small patches of originally used greenscreen (maybe signed/limited) might be a suitable item for merchandising or as a goodie for the ltd. edition dvd/bluRay. Especially the making of IronSky depends so much on it...
