Renderfarm login.

I logged to renderfarm trough WAM and after logging I was on my account data page. I was just about to press enter (don't know why) but then I noticed something. On the bottom of the page was my "Delete account" option and it had password ready in it because of my auto-fill. XD Could it be separated somewhere safe?

Julius Tuomisto September 02, 2010 16:01 Flag

Hey Daniel. Was this on Renderfarm.fi or Wreckamovie.com? I take this is on Wreckamovie.com, as you posted here? :P

Sami, it's just that we didn't have any version number for the first release, so I just made up one for this one :)

Sami Laulajainen September 01, 2010 12:56 Flag

Version "1.1 maybe". You guys sound like David and the LEV files. Is this a trend I've missed :)

Looking forward to hear the news

Kris S. September 01, 2010 11:30 Flag

Yeah, we'll do the full news item once this is working properly. :)

Joonas Aarnio September 01, 2010 11:24 Flag

We just released something we would call version 1.1 maybe, now it should work properly. We still have lots of things to improve, and you might see some slowness at this point when there are shots with Renderfarm.fi-sessions. So be patient, slowness is one of the next things we will take care of. News item will probably be released this week.

Joonas Aarnio September 01, 2010 05:46 Flag

There really seems to be a problem, not a big one, but the kind of I can't fix right at the moment. We are going to go finish off the integration at mid day, then you should see some results (hopefully :)

Kris S. August 31, 2010 23:27 Flag

Ahhhhh... yes. Sorry, forgot about that.

More news about that tomorrow. ;)

Samuli Jomppanen August 31, 2010 23:03 Flag

Its test shot for WAM - renderfarm.fi integration. One such shot was done for Materia too, and there is some problem with the system atm.

WAM - widget "join now" button

brings to the same page than clkicking the widget, which is the production info page. Wouldn't it be logical that the "join now" would actually go to the join page?

Oh really? I thought it would lead to an "instant join" if you are logged in on WAM or facebook... I think that would be really useful to get more Wreckers ;D

.mp3 upload problem

I actually just experienced some similar issues that Daniel was experiencing, but I was trying to upload mp3's. Firefox 3.6.8 didn't work (tried twice), but Safari 5.0.1 managed to get the job done.

Facebook connection

When logging out from WreckAmovie, it will logout your Facebook profile as well. This is especially troublesome if you have some text waiting to be posted in Facebook and you lose this text.

Hope you get this fixed soon =)

Ah, ok. I understand. No problem there.
Just gonna have to live with it.

And surely I dont have to logout from WreckAmovie until I would logout Facebook anyway. So its fine =)

Thank you for your reply.

Joonas Aarnio July 27, 2010 17:47 Flag

As far as I know, that is how Facebook Connect works with logging in and out. So unfortunately, it can't be fixed by us, it has to be fixed by Facebook.

Quote from API: "Since a user is logged in to your site if they are logged in to Facebook and have connected with your site, logging a user out involves logging them out of both your site and Facebook."

Peter Vesterbacka July 25, 2010 09:25 Flag

Seems to be a problem with the last update. The guys are on the case.

Daniel Saarimäki July 25, 2010 07:02 Flag

Same here ^^

Angela Ruggero July 25, 2010 07:00 Flag

Yes, exactly the same here. I thought it may have something to do with my own browser... but apparently it wasn't the case... ;)

Kris S. July 24, 2010 22:35 Flag

I can't see it on the shot box, but I can see it next to each comment.

Hannu Hoffrén July 24, 2010 21:41 Flag

Ah, yes that seems to be the case.

David Jansson July 24, 2010 21:19 Flag

Your comment has one.

Edit: Actually, it seems that all comments have them, but not shots.

Hannu Hoffrén July 24, 2010 21:17 Flag

Nope, same here.

edit: the only places I see it are the white background comment boxes, those that the production leaders have.

Production deleting don't work

I accidentally created two productions instead of one, and they are both non-published. I can't delete them. Both give "something went wrong" message.

Too long description

This is just a small thing. Look at the picture. That task description is so long that it pushes the other one down.
