Sauna wallpapers
DescriptionVisuals play really important role in the film promotion. A good poster creates interest and is noticeable even amongst many competitors, also the name of the film is visible and easily readable. Postcards and stickers can be used to promote in places where the people can see them and there's always need for cool computer wallpapers. Attached is a Sauna picbag in zip format which contains all kinds of visual elements to help you get started with the task as well as some sample wallpapers to get you inspired. Your task is to design a hauntingly beautiful and wonderfully twisted computer wallpaper for the desktops of the world. Naturally you can just use the pics as an inspiration if you choose so and even if most of the posters are done with computers, feel free to use anything from oil paints to concrete walls to create your version. The only requirements are that the name of the film "Sauna" and the website - www.WashYourSins.com - appear in the final work. Also slogan "Wash your sins" can be used. We'll be publishing works on our website and will definitely use the best ones for promotion of Sauna. EDIT 15th of May:

ShotsBig Bad WolfI borrow some things at other shots, don't kill me. Edit. Sorry i have working, here is new landscape pictures.
CommentsWhoa man! I'd love to add these to our wallpaper gallery, but they're portrait, not landscape. You think you'd have energy to do a wallpaper out of these? Jukka! I really think you nailed the 'heated by your sins' theme. The red overtone really highlights the 'whitewater' of the

righteous.) Feeling dirty?A simple design using the existing elements, but i think when it comes to computer wallpapers, never use too much stuff, there has to be space for icons. Let me know what you think! Commentssweet, where is this gallery? :D Nice work Matti-Pekka. This one goes to the Sauna wallpaper gallery. Cheers! I think we should organise an exhibition in www.washyoursins.com I like this pretty much. It's strong, well-laid and simple. Very good! Kinda StrangeThis one is kinda weird...what can I say, you guys are inspiring me... :) Let me know what you think Robert Commentsno problemo ukko, how big do you need it? Robert. I'm just compiling a wallpaper section and would love to use this, but it's really small for a wallpaper. Could you somehow enlarge it for the bigger resolution please. Cheers & Rokk,
I think maybe a gallery on the washyoursins.com website, like a gallery of desktop downloads. That also could be done here on WAM. Or how about an AfterEffects or Flash movie, sort of a compilation of our posters with some sound effects and/or music from the movie included? Which leads me to this question, what is the sound of this film, is it contemporary or classical? Contemporary as in "Korn: Shoots and Ladders" or classical as in "Sibelius: The Swan of Tuonela" ? I think knowing this sort of helps the creative process. Robert very good! great if you get inspired. what would be the way to do a kind of "exhibition" of all these nice inspirations? here in the wam? or in the www.washyoursins.com or how? Desktop SetI have a set of both Widescreen and regular screen wallpapers to use. There is also a super high resolution file (300dpi) for print purposes if requested. :) CommentsGoing, going, going, gone! ... to the Sauna wallpaper compilation I'm just putting together. Great work Hope. Cheers! I really appreciate the foreboding scurge seemingly swelling from the dark bark. Nice idea. Still RoughHere's a quick layout...I didn't even see Matti's Disturbed, so they're similar, I guess we were sort of thinking the same thing when we saw the stock photo. CommentsIt does have some similar elements from Matti's Disturbed, but the layout is quite different when you use it one the desktop. I like the fact that it's not jammed full but there is actually space in it so all the desktop elements can blend in. Good work. RepentSin... Sauna.Hello There! Finally got a chance to post my crude psychedelic enthusiasm... The materials are, strictly speaking, found, although the second
Many Happy Returns. CommentsWhoa! I really like the psychedelic nature of these two. That hat made for Erik from himself is impressive. Maybe a bit too busy for my "too full already" desktop, but nice piece of art nevertheless.

CommentsThis one has a great creepy feeling to it. A sinner stepping in the sauna, walking away from the light. Definitely going to the wallpapers page when it opens.

CommentsA Sauna tarot deck is a great idea! How about replacing the traditional four courts swords, batons, coins and cups with some sauna items like bucket, ladle, vihta and sauna stove. An other idea would be to make a regular 52 playing card deck in Sauna style. It could make use of buckets, ladles, vihtas and sauna stoves also. "Sinners - gamble to save your soul" Niiice one Sherry. Quite a gruesome pic, somehow that bloody water reminded me of Jaws :) Well, for now you made it to my desktop...*cheers* this looks just great!!! and gave the idea maybe to make "SAUNA tarot cards" to Cannes...maybe we dont have enough time to accomplish that, but anyway...well check that out! Hmmn Making a templat file for Photoshop...What is the font used in the main Title logo and general text? I don't recognize it. I'm making a size-layout template that others might be able to use. :) I'd like to make one specifically for this Movie, and zip it all up with the font used as well. ;) CommentsThank you. :) Timo Hyppönen just answered your question. The thin fim font is univers thin ultra condensed and wash your sins is jacques rough cut. The logo font is made spesifically for Sauna by graphic designer Timo Hyppönen. I'll ask Timo which font it is in the general texts. I will let you know as soon as he gets back to me. |
