Description

Again for reference, here's a master list of models we still need for the game. Any of the models here are open for submissions - if you'd like to model some of these, you can just post a shot under this task. We could also use concept art (or concept photos) for any of these to help in the modeling phase.

This list doesn't cover character models or geometry elements (such as walls, elevators and other structural elements of the base). It's still incomplete too, so feel free to suggest stuff you think should be found in the base!

List version: 1.0

This is essentially a modified version of a Lahti 20mm ATR

Matti Delahay February 15, 2012 08:23 Flag

There'll also be optional sidequests where you lead a bunch of resistance fighters to raid an armory.

YES SIR. \with pleasure. I love Gasmaskk

Matti Delahay February 13, 2012 09:34 Flag

I think we should probably have both - the traditional WW2-model here (for ordinary gas masks) and the more modern "Iron Sky"-model for a more advanced model that can be connected to an oxygen tank and used when piloting UFO:s etc. It makes sense that they'd only have a limited supply of the new model (for pilots, officers and other important people they plan to take to the Moon with the fleet) while the others would have to use the old surplus stuff that wouldn't be of any use in space. All the special SS units would probably use the new model too.

I personally would like to see Iron sky Gas Mask. Im sure thats what fans would like to expect. Any thoughts?

Looking nice! Also, thanks a lot for the input Jonathan.

Looking forward to getting the models.

Ryan R. Walsh February 12, 2012 17:57 Flag

You are right I will see what I can do to arrange them properly, with the correct proportions. I plan to send the models tonight after I get a few more in there.

Jonathan Eyre February 12, 2012 07:59 Flag

Awesome work from all your models as always. What have you used for the reference for your drum kit?

The proportions seem a little off. The snare (i believe that is your drum on the right) should be between the bass drum and hi-hat (ie on the left). While the other drum needs to be swapped over to the other side of the bass drum and may need extending downwards if you have modeled a tom drum. The drum sticks also seem a little short compared to the "snare". They stick over the end of the drum by about 5 cm when resting on the snare normally. The high-hat seems a little high. The cymbals in a real drum kit are angled towards the drummer to hit easier. I also believe it was to be used in a jazz group so a larger cymbal (a ride cymbal) would be placed on the furthest right. Plus their would be no point in having two cymbals of the same size, but the camera might not be showing the sizes properly.

Just my thoughts on the kit. Im a jazz player and have alot of experience with music.

Looks good! This is also for the current level since the agricultural research is grouped with medical.
