The Iron Sky -team is looking for your ideas and comments. Join and show your support for Iron Sky. DEMO RELEASE: Iron Sky on MediaThis task is closed
Closing NoteThanks a lot for this task to everybody who participated and sent the info out to media contacts! We've been swamped by tens of good interview contacts and a huge amount of positive press buzz - party thanks to you! DescriptionWe are going to release the first visual material from Iron Sky this spring, and one of the main purposes of the demo is to spread around the world and get as many people as possible to know about the film. Media is one of the important ways to make the message spread, alongside with Internet. We have good media connections here in Finland and also a bit to the world outside, but we’re gonna need your help! In this task (ITT), please tell us good magazines, papers, TV programmes (local or globa) etc. that would write about Iron Sky. We are willing to send press releases to all of these places, but if you can dig out a good contact email as well, I’d be very happy. NOTE! If you have a personal connection to some press, let me know! I’m willing to send the press release in advance to you so you can deliver it directly to your connection. Just let me know, and I’ll get back to you via email! This task is closed. ShotsOther mediaDigg.com would be good, I saw the link on Aint It Cool News, which is a huge site - lots of industry folks on that. Germany: heise.de/telepolishttp://www.heise.de/tp/r4/artikel/27/27898/1.html had a short article about Iron Sky. Hak5A hackers podcast which is also into cool internet things, such as this project. Some finnish magazinesWell try some movie and computer magazines? I think they would be very interested in writing a little article and that will spread the message a lot! Some Finnish contactsWell, I work as a freelance movie reporter for Plaza.fi's Kaista pop culture department, so that's one small thing. Then I know a bunch of guys – mostly big fans of Wreck – who work at various regional newspapers all around Finland. Not that you'd need much help reaching them and getting their attention. CommentsSlipped my mind at the time but I also freelance for DigiYest, erm, DigiToday and could gladly use any stories with a vaguely technical angle there. Wreck-a-movie for thing, at least. P'haps when it's opened to the public? Well, I think there's a lot of these contacts we could certainly use! I'll send you the press release when it's ready, maybe you can make something out of it to Plaza, and pass it out to some of the newspaperpeople you know. |

As far as I understand success in Digg is very much up to being an active and visible member of the community with lots of friend following your submissions.
If there is such a power user here we could need your help.
