The Galaxy Novus: StarPol -team is looking for your ideas and comments. Join and show your support for Galaxy Novus: StarPol. Interior design of main policeship
DescriptionOver the last few days, I put together a little information booklet outlining the layout of the Evedar-Ling. I've published it as a first edition on lulu.com but I'm looking for anyone interested in helping design various different areas within the policeship itself for the second edition. The areas needing to be designed are as follows: - Command Centre
These are just a few to get you started. You can find the index for the booklet [and main areas within the ship] in the preview link on lulu.com - http://www.lulu.com/product/paperback/tour-of-duty/12449172
ShotsTransit BridgeRenders for the transit bridge. I figure that they can slide in and out from the ship and have an air lock style interior. QuestionsAre the decks starting from the bottom or the top of the ship? Also are you wanting to go with the round style that Lee has been working on, or something else? It seams that the shape of the ship will affect how the decks are layed out... CommentsWith full gravity control the decks could lay out in a number of different ways. (Vertical or horizontal.) I have a round hanger deck that has a gravity field all around (To take advantage of all the space. Plus this will be the primary police bay.) and one that is a simple level deck. There is also one at the top of the ship. So the interior could take on many different looks even if my ship design is used. As mentioned previously, the book is only in its first edition which means it can be changed as the ship itself gets designed. When it was first written, it was with the mindset that the ship retained a rocket-like [horizontal] structure. On the other hand, if you have ideas for other decks and what will be housed within them, I'm open to suggestions. :) As for the order of the decks, I was thinking from the bottom up - but that can be open to negotiation as well. |

Actually, that makes more sense ...
thats pretty much the idea
So this is the bridge?
Has a glass like structure so you can see out into space.
Interesting idea.
Yes, three different angles. first from the interior looking down the bridge, the second from the top and the third from the side. It is also supposed to be a glass tube kind of like an underwater tube. how would you like it??
I'm guess these are different side views of the bridge. Would it be better if the bridge weren't transparent, you think?
