DescriptionThe task is to design the logo for Truth Today, the satirical 2018 newspaper we're about to give out in Berlinale this year. Here you may find the first take on the logo, but I'm asking you people to give your ideas on it - we have only few days to go, so let's make it quick! This task is closed. ShotsFingers crossed & CompassHere goes nothing! With the first one, I just wanted to play with the old gothic fonts and ink drawing style... This logo named "Fingers Crossed" came out as a result. I wish i could get the crossed fingers converted to vector graphics, but i didn't have all night to perfect this. The second one called "Truth Compass" is just a variation of Timo's logo. I was practising making star patterns on Illustrator, and i felt these graphic elements fit well together. I'm not too sure about the font, though... It's the font all USA high schools and colleges use.. 
  Modern lookI tried to make a logo with a more modern look. I'm new here, and may have skipped some background info on how things should look, but with 2018 spaceships, i thought something like this could be appropriate. 
LOGOHey i mada some. In 2018 the grrnhous gasses wil kill most of the trees and plants so a tree will be a good symbol of our planet.
And yeah forget the BG it was made to just make it look cooler.

I really like the fingers crossed logo (the latter one, with fingers in the middle). I'm actually just testing it on the layoyut of the paper. Looks rather real - not so much as a tabloid, but anewspaper that has a long tradition.
That was one heck of an idea. Looks classical and has that twisted humour in it...excellent!
The "fingers crossed" is brilliant idea.
I think it would look even better, if it had a more horizontal shape, with the "today" slightly higher, or even on the same line as the "truth". Just thinking what it would look like in the front-page layout.
