ShotsWhat Blender version are you using?We'll be using at least latest of Blender SVN trunk, since Renderfarm.fi supports only Blender 2.5 builds. If during this production we happen to develop new features, we'll probably be making a new branch over at http://gitorious.org/blenderprojects/blender (mirror of Blender SVN trunk). When that happens I'll try to ensure all artists get the latest version for their OS as soon as possible. CommentsThis shot doesn't have comments. How will this be rendered?We'll be rendering most of this on Renderfarm.fi http://www.renderfarm.fi . This is a great distributed render service through which the community at large can help out rendering projects by donating their CPU cycles. CommentsRenderfarm.fi supports only 2.5a2, no 2.49. So for uploading you use the uploader script I wrote for Renderfarm.fi. Since Blender 2.5 beta will be out soon, we'll be using that too, as I'll make sure that the guys over at Renderfarm.fi do too :) Anyway, for at least windows machines I'll be building new Blender 2.5 builds regularly, and I guess on request I can also start doing builds for at least Kubuntu 10.4 machines. Are you going to use 2.49+script or 2.5 special edition? Are there any resource limits for the project?Consider that we will be rendering on http://www.renderfarm.fi . As a rule we target to render one frame with max RAM 1GB in between 15 to 30 minutes on one core. I'm sure that when first beta is out (should happen very soon), renderfarm.fi will also upgrade to beta. I'm keeping the sources for that in sync a lot ( http://gitorious.org/blenderprojects/blender - see renderfarm branch)
Renderfarm doesn't support only 2.5 builds... I think.
