DescriptionHi there! Would you like to show us how you would animate this picture in Blender? The zip file includes:
The picture is almost from the beginning of the story (3/60). Picture 3.1: Marilyn searches lipstick from her bag.
Enjoy and have fun! :D Ps. Please send your animation to us in Blender file.
ShotsPosing mistakeI haven't looked at the file closer, but I fould a posing problem. If you rotate the tail2 bone, part of the hair rotates also. |

It's just a problem in the vertex groups. Easy to fix.
Our rigger tried to figure out the problem and it is most likely because of the different versions of blender. He also said that it might be just a weight painting mistake.
If you guys can fix it yourself, please do :) We'll try to spot the problem and update the file, but it might take time, because we have our hands full right now...
Thanks
Hello there!
Sorry that you guys had to wait for so long.. If you have noticed we have made a tough decision and we are making only the trailer for now.
http://3danimationproject.wordpress.com/2010/05/11/a-tough-decision/
We will see what´s going to happen after summer holidays but atleast our main target is complited now. We have learned what we "wanted to see the process of making a 3D animation".
I asked our projects rigger and also the animator to check out your questions and answer to them. (During week 21)
Stay tuned! The trailer is coming ;)
For some reason the tools window only works in a vertical window, and that window has been clicked away in the blend file attached to this task. And I can't get a new one to display.
Are you (the project leaders) using the nightly build versions of Blender 2.5?
That problem comes to me also. Both in the 2.4 and 2.5. Don't know how to solve it...
Maybe it all boils down to finding the collision and soft body settings?
Two spheres? I have seen many problems in the new 2.5, but not anything like that. Check that you have the 2.5 alpha 2 version. Alpha 1 is really unstable.
I will try to solve your problem later, but I didn't get any problems when I opened the file. Did you use 2.4 or 2.5 when that problem came?
Why do you need edit mode? Isn't object mode and pose mode enough for animating?
All I get when I go into edit mode are two spheres. And the 2.5 interface is still so damn buggy it's unusable. I need to see which vertex groups do what if I am to be of any help.
Daniel: What am I doing wrong?
