Description

This will be a think - tank - task on

"How to present a film to potential investors, when you don't have any name."

Weather you have succeeded or not, hit me with your ideas.

I'm planning:

- 10 minute video showing the material we have and what we are about to do
- show the full script
- summary of the plot (One sentence, synopsis, treatment)
- timetables
- budget, estimated
- 10 minute edit of the film material I don't have to show what we are about to do.

Would this convince you to invest. If not, what more?

Hello :)

I think it must be enough for investors! But the 10 minutes must be edited good, because it will always give the first "picture" of what you about to do!
I can help with editing and I really want to do it! Just upload somewhere those 10 minutes of "black" material and I will make you a good treiler!!!

I know 10 minutes is a long time to wait, but it was a 30 minute clip that gave Jackson the New Line cinema to promise him three movies when he asked for two.

Maybe the idea of having two videos.? perhaps?

Thank you for you interest. at the moment there isn't that much more. Some set and crop building is in progress to get the shots we need. And My New Zealand unit hasn't checked back on me :)

What do you think Would it be appropriate to use You tube clips as a reference media for the investors? Although I Don't own the material?

For example: Take a huge (expensive and slow to make) space battle and say we will have this sort of stuff if you give the money.
