Descriptionit wont let me upload my blend file for some reason, my email is doug@snowcapstudios.com i can email it to you. sorry about that I'm looking for another blender artist with a lot of knowledge in rigging. the legs were modeled in such a way they need to be limited so they can only bend one way and only so far. I can't figure out how to limit the limbs. also i need to remodel the arm joints. you will see what I mean when you open it. they bend the worst way possible to get any good movement. i was thinking a ball joint but even that might not be practical for a robot. also as far as texture goes i can't figure out how to make it not move when the robot moves.
ShotsTextureMap the texture with an empty and parent the empty to the torso or map it with orco mapping instead of global. CommentsThis shot doesn't have comments. BlenderAdd the constraint "limit rotation" to the bones in question. It can be found among the constraints in the object panels. I have absolutely no problem uploading .blend files. Give it another try, if it doesn't work I'll PM you my email-address. Edit: That robot in the poster needs better knee and hip joints as well if you want to animate it using it's legs for anything else than walking straight. CommentsThis shot doesn't have comments. |
