Hear ye, hear ye: time for another task! This time we take a good look at the literary tastes of the Nazi officers!
Here's the thing: there's a small library inside the base - not larger than one or two rooms - filled with books the Nazis want to take with them to the Moon, partly to preserve German culture during the Moon era, partly to avoid boredom when not scheming for world domination. What's in there? Your examples may be either factual or imaginary, fiction or non-fiction, totally serious or tongue-in-cheek (though let's not get carried away). Please include into your suggestions the name of the book, the name of the author and a short description, something the player character might say about the book when examining it. Line examples:
"It's 'Mein Kampf' by Adolf Hitler. It's propaganda."
"It's 'The Hollow Alphabet' by some guy called Anton Süsskind. It seems to be poetry."
"It's 'Is this goodbye, Charlie Chaplin?' by Rudolf Shicklgruber. It seems to be some kind of a romance novel."
EDIT: Oh bugger, I forgot a couple of things. First of all, please mention if the book in your example is real or not; it might be important, should we decide to use your suggestions in plots. Secondly, remember that the library exists in the 1940s, so we probably can't use books newer than that...well, unless it's really, really funny to do so. Continue!
Too obvious? How about the rest of the Verne's writings? One of the nazi leaders in the base might be a sf - fan. Where else they would have got their crazy idea to go to the moon.
Well from H G Wells - The First Men on the Moon. It might be a good addition to library. And the rest of his work
In my opinion the nazis go for every source while scavenging information of how to live in space.
The best books in the reich are the Mein Kampf series consisted of Mein Kampf fir student, Mein Kampf for married couple, Mein Kampf for bullies, Mein Kampf for newbies, Mein Kampf 1-2-3, Mein Hühnersuppe für der Kampf ("My Chicken Soup for the Struggle"), Mein Kampf for Scientist, Mein Kampf Deine Kampf, etc.
Maybe the player could say something like "It's some kind of encyclopedia but it's main focus is on toweling...", or "Much better than the Encyclopedia Galactica (which I guess could also be shown)", or "DON'T PANIC" (just as something bad happens) or perhaps something about when he last used it.
The Hitch Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a sci-fi book / series / film, but the guide itself is supposedly very old, and there was time travel involved.
Suppose that the Nazis accidentally took the Communist Manifest with them (Karl Marx was a German, hence the mistake) if you click on the book a communist song starts to play and Stalin appears, he fades away after a few seconds.
A comprehensive guide on the subjects.
As the title said. Front & Back
And a newspaper clipping about mothers last.
Here are two examples of it.
First a medical examination written by a doctor, then the short story 'Chaste Legend' about a girl 'Evlein' that promised chastity, the promise becoming a weapon of justice or whatever (just skimmed through it).
Real Book
Name: Kinder-und Hausmärchen by The Brothers Grimm
Description: A Compendium of Fairy tales, useful for scaring children into behaving or promoting the Nazi ideal of racially pure marriages.
Players Line: "Hmm, a book of stories to scare impudent little children whom misbehave"
Row upon row of serious anti everything heavy bound volumes line the bookcase shelves. Tracing a finger along the edge, the black clad SS officer silently reads their spines before selecting one. Pulling it out, he reads aloud, "The Decadence of the American Nation and the Downfall of its Mongrel People".
He lifts his eyes toward his seated fellow SS officer. After a moments silence and with a deadpan face, he replies "Never sold well. For some reason the American market failed to pick it up. I think the title was a little too long for them".
The officer holding the book looks at his friends serious face before they simultaneously burst out laughing.

Agreed, I find it likely that there'd be people familiar to Verne's and Wells' ideas in the base.
Agree. Classic book about the obvious target. That is a must.
I think it makes perfect sense that such a book would be included. In fact, it could perhaps be used as a hint... laying on the night table of one of the nazi leaders rather than just being in the library...
