Okay, now I got it.I can think about that.
That comic machine option sounds good XD
Joel - It is an old tobacco vending machine that has been converted to sell comics in tobacco box-sized containers. No age limit for that!
Here's a small photo: http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3416/3428928784_094e03f2d7.jpg?v=0 . I'll try to get a better one when I pass by there.
Basically fold and glue together a tobacco box-sized container, add labels or artwork, print the desired comics on a couple of A4s, fold the comics so that they fit in it, and voila!
I dunno who you have to contact to get them into sale, though. I'm sure someone at the bar can help ya with that.
KK... I understood all the words, but I didn't get the whole idea. What is the total process from a comic to that "special best of- collectors edition" and what do I need for it?
Also, I'm 15 years old, so I'm not sure can I deal with anything releated to tobacco.
Jani, that sounds amazing, could you get a picture of that next time you're there?
In Mbar in Helsinki, there's a comic book vending machine converted from an old tobacco vender by the Finnish Comics Association.
You need to handdraw the "cigarette boxes" and fold the comic to fit in there. They cost 2 euros each, and are real collector's items. The machine is the coolest thing since Indiana Jones.
Ask the bar if you'd like to sell a "special best of- collectors edition" of your comics there!
XD
You can also fix that problem by making your own comics.
I never remember which one of you is which... :) (Sorry...)
Daniel doesn't make comics XD
Well that's something only you can fix... :)
I know where I can print them but the only problem is to get so many comics that they would fill the book.
If you want to!
But you would have to print them first, which could be expensive.
What about selling these comic books in the Finncon?
Like I mentioned on the Snowblind thread, there are many sites which let you publish your own books nowadays like lulu.com and cafepress.com
