DescriptionThe production coordinator is soon going to start scouting for locations, but maybe the Finns have some idea for one... One scene of the movie takes place outside in a really rough neighborhood with lots of drug users, skinheads and the like. I was originally thinking Piritori, but maybe it's too nice nowadays... Hardly anybody gets beaten up over there anybody. Maybe some newer suburbs have some suitably ugly looking plazas? Graffiti, trash, broken down buildings and naturally occurring narcs would be great... It doesn't have to be the toughest and the roughest, but it should look like it is. Remember, we're looking for specific locations, so "any corner in Jakomäki" is not enough! ;)
ShotsGypsy locale in MunkkisaariHaven't visited there myself, but the locales where the gypsies live in Munkkisaari or Kalasatama should look and feel pretty rough.
