Description

I've been experimenting with some nebula's and effects. Maybe a fly around or through one towards a nearby star and the Lazy Sue could be used for a possible opening sequence?

Fly through...

I personally really like the second sample you posted, with the nebula being "flown through". So perhaps, start of with something like this, then focus on a planet beyond the nebula, and show us the ship leaving its orbit to start with?

After that, another cut from a different point of view could show the audience the ship traveling towards the edge past colorful clouds and past newly-born stars...

To end the sequence, you could finally show the ship crossing the edge of the nebula and heading into the unknown - far away from the camera, "to boldly go where no one has gone before."

Some great food for thought.

However this ship has limits on what it can do. Deep space (Solor System) explorer. With a jump drive to get it from system to system. So I'll need to keep this in mind.
