I would say, "bereit für Angriff" passes as short for "bereit für den Angriff". It might even be preferable for the space nazis to use some slightly off language, given the fact that they have been living behind the moon for decades.
Thats right, it should be "bereit zum Angriff" or "bereit für den Angriff"
