In the movie did this happen too? or did it not happen? and if it did, did they see the Nazi's? thats probably my only question about the movie. Also a cool teaser trailer to make before it comes out would be if there was a family in their yard (typical average stereotype of an american family) and there was a huge shadow over all of them and they look up and there are thousands of Nazi space ships invading earth. that would be so amazing!!!! |

No Apollo landing officially documented ;-) Anything is possible in a movie .
No Apollo lander ever landed on the far side of the moon. The 2 main reasons for that are, that the astronauts could not establish radio communication (and NASA could also not monitor anything) which would be much too risky.
And the visible side shows the large "mare" where the terrain is much smoother as on the back side..
All Apollo Command Modules established an orbit around the moon, so they could have seen Schwarze Sonne if they would have used telescopes and would have known where to look...
It would have been funny if the Americans landed over a ridge, and totally missed a huge Nazi installation.
Too late for the film though... can't wait to see it :-)
Did the Americans land on the dark side of the Moon? Even if they did, the Moon is not a small ball of cheeze, they might have landed in entirely different region than the nazis did...
