A quest tailored for Insider/Stealth, but adaptable for others

Short description

An important party official is coming in on the last boat.
An SS-officer wants him dead, and wants his documents 'disappeared'.

Starting conditions

The PC
¤ is in the brig for a minor offense, or
¤ has just turned in a saboteur/traitor, or
¤ has successfully completed another quest proving his resourcefulness or loyalty, or
¤ has failed another quest for the SS
(basically establishing either trust with the SS, or giving them leverage over the PC)

Long description

So, you find yourself summoned to the brig. (voluntary, or not)
You wait a bit amongst the grim looking guards, growing nervous as the time goes by.
You are told to enter the SOG's office. Upon entering you are greeted by the sergeant of the guard, and either dressed down (failed quest/crime) or congratulated for your success & thanked warmly.
The door opens behind you, and an SS-officer enters.
The SOG comes to attention, and sieg-heil's him, surprised: "Obersturmführer von Schwarzenböck!"

The tall, blond, blue-eyed officer appears to be the avatar of the Aryan-race.
When they wrote the 'Nürnberger Rassengesetze', they must have had this man in mind.

He asks (or orders) the SOG to leave you two alone.
If you screwed up, then good. If you hold their trust, then von Schwarzenböck surprises you by knowing about one of your past exploits. He threatens to expose you, and when he has convinced you just how screwed you are, he smiles & pats you on your back. Chuckling to himself he says "Vielleicht können wir uns ja gegenseitig helfen..." [We might be able to help each other...]

"Um Punkt Dreizehnhundert kommt ein Parteifunktionär am Trockendock im Sektor B12 an.
Er soll sich um Punkt Fünfzehnhundert bei der Kommandantur melden. Sorgen Sie dafür, daß er dort nicht ankommt.
Er hat außerdem einige Dokumente bei sich. Zerstören Sie sie... nein, bringen Sie sie mir lieber. Sie könnten sich ja noch als nützlich erweisen."

[At point 1300 a party official arrives at the dry-dock in sector B12.
He is to report at headquarters at point 1500. Make sure he does not arrive.
Also, he has some documents on him. Destroy them... no, better bring them to me. They could prove useful.]

You have a few hours (1-3) to find this guy, ice him, and either destroy his documents, or bring them back.

Ways to succeed [consequences]

¤ kill official
-sabotage dry-docks (drown him, maybe literally ice him, documents are lost)
[collateral damage: another NPC dies, can't complete another quest]
[base on high alert. there should be some consequence to deter this]

-bomb dry-docks or transfer-tunnel
[blocks off section of base. Permanent, or have to find way around -complicated]
[could also use this tactic to slow the official down if detonated beforehand but ->base on high alert]

-just shoot
[seriously? guards! big nasty guns, and lots of them!]

-stealthy assassination
[base on high alert, need a scapegoat]

-incriminate, and have executed
[trusted official, need some pretty solid allegations & proof]

¤ let live and
-bribe to give up documents
[might talk later, will anger von Schwarzenböck]

-incriminate, and blackmail
[hard to do, but might just work]

-intimidate to give up documents
[might tell later, so you might have to kill him anyways]

-turn in von Schwarzenböck
[officer tells on you]

-have a nice chat
[gain friend, but still need to get rid of documents. Angers von Schwarzenböck]

¤ steal documents and
-give to von Schwarzenböck [complete quest]

-hide [may be found]

-destroy [less experience points]

-forge and return to official [maybe better for SS-officer?]

-forge documents to be of the party-official! [that aught to incriminate him!]

-forge copies and give to von Schwarzenböck [complete quest, keep originals for later]

-forge and keep for own purposes [gotta prove their destroyed]

-keep for blackmail purposes [SS-officer might try to kill PC]

-give to von Schwarzenböck's superior officer [and watch him bring on the pain]

-post in public place [for the lulz]

Some more information on the quest
The PC can just run on over there, and kill the first best guy that looks like a party official, but he might want to be sure he gets the right guy.

If he asks around a bit, he learns that he is a historian, and how he looks like.
If he digs deeper (bribes/intimidation) he will find out that he is the Reich's premier researcher on the Ahnenerbe ( http://greyfalcon.us/Ahnenerbe.htm ) and the designated Ahnenforscher (genealogist) for the mission.

Why would an SS-officer want you to kill a respected party official?
What's so important about those documents?

After examining the documents (might have to ask the Genealogist for help) the PC finds out what:
von Schwarzenböck wasn't always known by that name. He was originally called Krtsch, which makes him of Slavic (or possibly Turkish) descent. Which in turn puts his career in the SS, along with his life, at serious risk. (Note: in von Schwarzenböck's case in Krtsch the c is the one with the 'v' over it. -Does not display properly in browser)

Fun
Picture the scene when von Schwarzenböck's superior officer finds out his (maybe even beloved) prize role-model soldier is of sub-human stock.
Girlish crying, and/or unholy rage spring to mind.

How would the bases inhabitants react to this if you do post it in a public place? How will it affect troop-morale?

Whom else could you incriminate in this way?

One of the ways to 'dispose' of the official could be in a giant freezer. Befriend him, and have him follow you. Distract him, shove him in there, and jam the door shut. Retrieve documents later.

NOTE: theoretically the PC could forge the documents (actually 'Ahnenpaß' or 'Arierpaß' -ancestry/aryan-certificate) to be from any NPC, but he needs certain other documents for it to work. And those are few & far between.
The producers should know if, and how, they would implement this.

This has a really good sound to it - it would come out very different for different players and there'd be plenty of different solutions to it. :)
