The SNOWBLIND 3D -team is looking for your ideas and comments. Join and show your support for SNOWBLIND 3D. Snowblind in Deadline MagazineFor our German-able friends (Seppo!), here's a scan of yesterday's Deadline Magazine. It's a pretty good fanzine with a focus on Horror films, appearing bimonthly in good, heavy-weight printing quality. This issue is special cause it marks the 25th anniversary, and that in the hard times of "print is dead"! So all you Germany-based movie fans (or Austria and Switzerland for that matter) run out to your local dealer and grab a copy to support those guys =) Oh and yeah about the content of the review, it is very favorable, saying the only weak point of the film would be that the pacing could be tightened. Everything else from acting to camerawork and effects was well liked, concluding in an overall rating of "very good" :D Cheers,

@KMH And the same people who cut the masterpieces wonder why the other people streams from the net.. (not me, I've just heard :D )
Yeah TV is the worst when it comes to cuts. Some 10 years ago, "Die Hard 3" was on - Brucey enters the elevator escorted by four armed baddies... cut... the elevator door opens, the guys lie on the floor. That was the moment I ripped out my TV cord and threw it in the trash. That's why no TV programme has ever stained the virgin soul of my 42" up to this day ^_^
Sounds like Finland in the 1980's I still have a VHS - tape recording of "Alien" which was cut before it was aired in Finnish television. The spaghetti scene was mainly all cut away. "Ok, now its PG" :)
Banning was not that common, but that one :
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0091313/
Was banned here because the Soviets wanted it :D
I taught the EU forbids the cutting of the film. At least that's why they don't cut films here anymore.
No Sami, that means no violence was removed from the movie to get a lower age rating ;D This checkbox is there because Deadline is mainly a Horror magazine where gory details are very welcome, and also in Germany violence leads to "18+" rating much faster than in the US for example, also a lot of films get banned completly if they are considered unhealthy for youth. Actually they are a bit paranoid over here, but in exchange erotic content is mostly considered to be NOT harmful 8D
The little that I understood, looked nice to me.
"Cut: nein" No editor? So you used the Blender autocut to edit the film? :D
Totally; it's just that good-old western-style. But many people of today's hectic world are annoyed by this... can't argue with personal taste!
But thank you anyway, Angela :D
Bah! I insist that the pacing is not a bug, but a FEATURE. ;)
Seriously, congrats!
