Promo Ideas for the Snowblind Launch?

People, after two years of hard work the day has finally come - Snowblind will be released on the web in the first week of November! That means THIS WEEK!!!*

The SD version of the film (480p) will become available on various platforms, which we'll reveal once they start their rotation. The HD version and all the bonus content will be sold for low prices so we can hopefully make back the money we put into Snowblind, so we can shoot Vampyre Princess 3D with that money :D

Since we're really reduced to a core team due to completely running out of money, we're depending on you to help us push this thing to a rolling start! Any ideas what we can do to get some media (preferrably online) coverage are much appreciated!

So let us know, which websites, blogs and communities should we contact? What forums and networks are you a member of that you can post in?

Also, we could use some ideas how to convince people to give us coverage - for example, in Germany the film "Machete" is released this thursday. We hope this will help to get more understanding for the concept of Grindhouse by local media. What strategies could we use to benefit from the launch of this similar-minded film?

We are open to all ideas and very thankful for your participation :D

Thanks,
Kalle-Max ^_^

It is good that the original film is in english. It helps to spread the word to every nation, where people understand english. The subtitle task has made the film available for those interested in the genre but not so good fluency in english skills.

I think in german speaking countries the novelty of the film using crowdsourcing in the process may be the one thing to mention. One other thing to mention is that the film is feature length.

I have two finnish forums (bulletin boards) in my mind, where I am writing my opinions almost on daily basis, therefore it is ofcourse natural, that I post an article of the availability of Snowblind there.
