I was browsing around for Ludo reference images to tweak when I found this game, created in 1916, which works like snakes and ladders but where the player uses a die-cast German U-boat as a game piece, rolling a dice and moving it around the board's map landing on spaces that help or hinder their aim to conquer the British Isles. Yeah, that was the title of the original article I copied the shot from, although I later decided it was a bit too long and needed editing. ^^'
Ha ha ha, didn't this shot have a different name earlier? Something like "Destroy Britain From The Sea!"
Well I suppose you've had to endure enough jokes about Italy's war record... ;)
Serious feedback though, this game is interesting because it is an example of anti-Allied propaganda which predates the Nazis. It shows how long term the enmity between the UK and Germany was, there were two generations of Germans raised believing Britain was a threat.
And it does look very war-like, so it is suited to this task.
