Keyword: LegendIn the last trailer I saw was one final sentence pronounced:" Tell me is the legend really true!" One could consentrate to that in the movie more. The legend is an essential part of the story. The final trailer could start with that sentence. And thus make the audience to wait for the legend to be told, and expecting to find the answer when watching the movie. For me it was the thing that could be reminded from time to time during the movie, the importance of the legend. I say nothing more not to spoil the film for those who have not seen it so far. Thank you for letting us see Snowblind in Wreckamovie festival. It was really nice to see the film. It does it's trick very well: I was grabbed into the world you have created, the sceneries saw so authentic and it was nice to see the tricks of graphical postprocessing. Any subtitled versions available soon? Or is it worth a shot in Wreckamovie to create those subtitles for Snowblind? |

Actually, our first idea for a trailer (a year ago) was to start with a slate "A LEGENDARY GUNFIGHTER"... then showing some shots of Clayton... "A LEGENDARY HUNTER" ... showing Matt, "A LEGENDARY MADMAN" followed by the Governor of course, and then the Text "AND ONE WOMAN", introducing Naina. And then, all hell would break lose ;P
So it's interesting that you had the same idea. Only problem is, we had to lose the line "is that legend really true?" from the film, because the test audience demanded the last bits leading up to the showdown should be shortened.
Anyway, one could definitely do the trailer like that. The only problem that remains is: It sounds like big-ass hollywood style... somehow, the tongue-in-cheek style has also to come through, like in the "mashup-trailer"... really not easy ^_^
