We weren't too sure how you wanted the Plingon language spoken so we sorta made it up on the spot. Was it okay or did you want it spoken another way?? Baring in mind that neither of us actually know Finnish to flip is backwards in the edit.
Do I have a confirmation on Paul's audition piece for the Tactical Officer? We'll try and accommodate the re-recording of Damian's captain piece. We'll be fairly busy this week with the recording and filming of our interactive series.
I love Paul Mcleans "Helmsman". I put helmsman in quotes because the lines they read in the files that says "helmsman" is actually the tactical officer...
Could you ask Damian Rieck if he could do the captain with a little more emotion? He's quite an incompetent captain, which is partly shown in his emotional over reactions.
Also, about the Plingons. Their language is really Finnish backwards. But it's an easy and silly way to create an alien language, the point is, I don't want them to read the lines backwards and then flip it post prod. I want natural inflections.

In Starwars the Ewoks spoke a mongolian dialect, and Yoda used Hungarian grammar (Frank Oz is Hungarian).
You could try mixing languages-grammars like that too...

The Plingon language should sound like any other language. Character reactions and speech cadence shouldn't sound alien that way.
Use the English translation and character descriptions above to extrapolate the acting.
