The audition files have been delivered. Sorry it took so long. I'll work on editing them clean and posting them here tomorrow. :)
Still it will promote what they can do and add to their resume. :)
Auditions are being held next Wednesday. We can't promise that our actors will put their hands up to voice it [because of its unpaid status] but we are hopeful. Two actors have already expressed interest.
It's so cool CLP is getting involved in this production. I'm sure it venture will benifit all involved. :)

You don't have to know finnish, it's supposed to be an alien language after all. And it isn't finnish, it's finnish backwards. ;)
Unfortunately, none of our actors know Finnish. :( I'll get back to you on the recording. We'll need to make a time available for the recording and then do the casting call ...
Well, I was hoping to get it all done until Finncon, but that was a bit optimistic of me.
Let me put it this way, as soon as possible. I can't really start working on speech animation until I have the voice files. And while there are some space scenes still to work on I would like to get started with character animation.
The Plingon language is finnish backwards, it doesn't have to sound really alien. This is silly comedy after all. :) Much of the general emotion to be portrayed should be easy to extrapolate from the writing. And you can just ask about details.
Now I need to do some virtual hairdressing.
Was there a particular date you needed the voices by? It just helps us organize our time to do the casting call and record the files for you.
I noticed that the Plingon is in a foreign language. Was there any reference to the language itself? Alien languages are something we'll really need guidance with.
Oh, and if you specialize in voice acting, maybe you could give me some feedback on how well the P-fleet dialogue works?
Vulgar Tactical, Grunt 1, and the helmsman is open.
Also, possibly the captain, Daniels friend wants to do it, but they are having problems getting a recording session done.
I have been trying to do the Vulgar, but voice acting just isn't my forte... If you can find someone who can do that role I would be relieved to give it up.
Check the task description. P-fleet captain, vulgar, helsman, engineer and three plingons. I'm not sure though. You have to wait for Jansson.
What role still need filling? I don't want to advertise for roles that have already been filled.
