It's more like: If you slip off the mouse button, or if you have an itch, it sometimes happens that you involuntarily double-click. Then the system is confused because it registers the first click and thumbs up the content, but hasn't got enough time to remove the thumbs-up-button before the next click registers. So it says "couldn't be thumbed up" because one user can only thumb up once.

Nobody wants to buy it if it has a bad AI and you wouldn't get those moneys. It can mess the whole system.
If my computer is developing an AI with opinions I would, uhm, probably sell it to research and buy an even better computer for the money!
Maybe your computer thinks that the content should have been thumbed down :)
