Nazi art

An interesting feature of the base could be a salvaged statue from Berlin, specially those made by Arno breker and Josef Thorak. they produced many works until 1945 for Nazi Germany, many of which were over three meters high. It could be cherished as a "piece of home", displayed on the base equivalent to a main hall, for all to see. it could be damaged as well, bcause of allied bombing or the soviet offensive.

The book "Art of the Third reich", by Peter Adam, shows many examples, and is also full of illustrations of that period.

Any google search using the artists' names would show several examples as well.
