Now it's complete! Almost..

I like the new opening. The fonts work now, although i'd still go with a more exiting one..

- Maybe there could be at the beginning a little text explaining how over 3000 volunteers were used in the making of ITP. Or how their communal experience led to WAM.

- The muzak is horrible though... But i like how ýou timed the Snowblind gunshot to the bang in the music..

- Maybe there could be some footage from the site, or at least its logo.

- You could add Landing to the references showcasing some of Yann's work ;)

"Maybe there could be at the beginning a little text explaining how over 3000 volunteers were used in the making of ITP. Or how their communal experience led to WAM."

Well, I'm trying to keep the video as simple as possible so that it's easy to translate. And some people might be disappointed when they don't get 3000 volunteers for their WAM production... ;)

Maybe there could be a general reference to volunteers helping on the production without specifying a number?

"Maybe there could be some footage from the site, or at least its logo."

I tend to avoid logos in promo videos in case they change, but as the video will have to be updated for new productions anyway maybe that would be possible. Angela had suggested something similar too.

I would avoid footage of the site because that changes much more often, so it would date more quickly?

"The muzak is horrible though"

Well, I quite like it but this is a matter of taste ;)

But to be serious, I did spend quite a bit of time trying replace the music before I published the new version. I tried to find something more neutral and timeless, e.g. classical, but couldn't find anything just right.

One problem is that it has to fit many different types of scene, and a lot of tracks go off in a particular direction which doesn't really match the stuff on-screen. If you try playing some random music on top of the video you'll see what I mean I think.

Another problem is that this video has to be kept short so the track has to begin and end within about 3 or 4 minutes. Most instrumental tracks don't do that.

If you have any better suggestions which are short and legal and fit the video please do let me know. I spent a long time searching Jamendo for a replacement:

...maybe you can find something there, or from another source?

We can't use unlicensed music because it is clearly a promotional video and WAM might get into trouble if the music isn't licensed properly.

I'm also going to set up a task for music, there are talented people on here, maybe they can come up with something. :)

"But i like how ýou timed the Snowblind gunshot to the bang in the music.."

That was actually pure coincidence, believe it or not. :) But I did edit the video to some extent to fit the general tone of the music (and I can edit the music too if the track licence permits it).
