time dilation and ramifications

An additional effect of the gravitational waves that modify the Earth/Moon system's orbital trajectory, will be time dilation: Untill the near passing gravitational beams stop, time on the Earth and on the Moon will slow, relative to frames of reference elsewhere in the Solar System.

EDIT: This means that from the Terestrial/Lunar frame of refference, the Solar System has jumped from 2152, the year of the next planetary alignment, into the future, indeed, to the year of the following alignment: 2327, all virtually over night!

No, I am not familiar. Anything applicable at hand? And I hope the plot device as already employed herein is adequately transparent. Is it?

I wonder if you have read Spin by Robert Charles Wilson. It has some nice ideas about what ramifications, and possibilities time dilation could have.
