my intetntion is not making as much money as possible with the movie sooner get as much people as possible to see the movie and i want to make advertising and pr as much interesting as possible i really want to hype this movie , and if everyone could read the story in parts and sees a transparent production , i think a lot of hype is going to disappear from their minds.
think about cloverfield etc. my storys not based on a book i want to give the people a different view of the theme.
its not a sunday-evening-go-to-cinema-movie
oh i´ve just found that group feature, thanks for your help! im really sorry i wouldn´t ask if i had know that.
As Thierry said, that's what groups are for, but not many people seem to have noticed the groups feature.
If you add certain members of your production to a group within that production, then only they can see what you display to that group.
"if everyone would knew the whole story at the outset"
Well... The lord of the ring movies, The Harry Potter movies, any movie based on a book, seems to sell well enough anyway.
And really, the smart ones are going to wait for the reviews anyway...
Then there is the truth that the film companies find very inconvenient, illegal downloading of movies increases sales. (They are more scared of the legal downloading. They just want to make people scared of downloading in general, so people don't notice things like Energia who struck it big with Star Wreck by offering it for free on the net.)
The only reason to keep things under wraps is if the movie sucks, so you can get as many people as possible to see it before the reviews start trickling out...
That's for what group are....
