I like very much the carved triangle and forms. it make this ship so "royal", it's exactly what we need for the general : ))

As always awesome, absolutely awesome...!

Thierry i send you the file.
There are no specific docking points for the other ships, but you can put them in a lot of places (Like all the rectangular holes along the hull or on the both sides or inside the "mouth").

Kari, imagine it like a hungry snake's head.
The front is the open side, the back the one with the six huge propulsors.
If Thierry wants to move some parts like the propulsor deflectors... Yes he can! ;)

David, has i said to Thierry, the other ships can dock on it. :)

Then a fight erupts in the Dramculian fleet, over who combines with who and who gets to play the small manoeuvrable ships.

Can the smaller modules attach to this one? So that it could potentially be a fortress ship?

Imagine the scene, a big fortress ship that breaks up into a fleet.

Kari Pihkala November 18, 2009 12:50 Flag

Fits the earlier designs! A stupid question: which side is the front? Or does it have a preferred moving direction?

On one side, it looks like it is going to get a grip on something, on another side, looks like it is going to eat something.. can the modules move?

Thierry Gschwind November 18, 2009 12:01 Flag

I like the design. Can it the other moduls also dock at the ship or is that not intended ?
If you send me the file I can make a pic with the scales of all ships compared to the P-Fleet.

Thanks!

Making round shapes and curving surfaces isn't so hard to do...
Just a lot of smoothing! ;)

Jani Salomaa November 17, 2009 23:41 Flag

You've really nailed that look! It has that bulky and durable look that distinguishes the dramculian fleet.

Some day i'm gonna call you out to do sleek and round shaped ships... I imagine it's hard to do round shapes and curving surfaces (like the Naboo people's ships in Star Wars), but that would differentiate ships of different races.

Peter Vesterbacka November 17, 2009 19:11 Flag

Yann, that's a really great design! Can't wait for it to get into the movie!
