And there's a lot of time to spare to learn all the things you kept postponing before.

Advanced math. Physics. Various technologies, to stay ahead of the curve once you can get back.

And chess. We totally forgot playing chess; solitaire sucks in comparison. As a bonus, there is a lot of various metaphors a chessboard can offer.

Things like dictionaries and encyclopedias become a lot more valuable when you don't have internet access.

Also, a library tells a lot about its owner.
A stack of books on the table can tell a lot about what is going on.
