Translations and Print Magazines?Can I translate the text and submit it to my contacts working for magazines in Italy, Germany, Sweden and the Netherlands? They do not have an international coverage... but every drop together makes the ocean? Eventually if necessary I can translate whole articles or find someone to do it more professionally.... Also I know people working for Star Trek fanzines who would probably be very happy to publish an extended article (well ok, one page or two I think) on Star Wrek with mention to Iron Sky. Also good? :) |

The Italian sci-fi website fantascienza.com answered to my email on May 14 thanking for the info but also adding that that they already were aware of the very interesting project and planning to eventually write an article...which they finally published last Saturday: http://www.fantascienza.com/magazine/notizie/10848/

3) Contacting Forry Ackerman would be a good idea. Forry is still editing at least one magazine, and he's a big fan of science fiction film. I don't have contact details for him, but there's a fair bit of information on his wikipedia entry:

Why don't you translate the official press release or the main parts of it (http://www.ironsky.net/site/?p=28), and then add a short introductory letter.
I thought Johannes Kääpä's intro letter to the editor of Chud.com was excellent and got the story published (http://tinyurl.com/4pb37m). Maybe you can use that as a reference.

Timo, the director, has plenty of material both for Star Wreck and Iron Sky articles. You can email him (timo.vuorensola@starwreck.com) for getting some of that material.
I could not wait so I sent some info in Italian to my contact at hachette.it ...they asked direct contact info so I gave them a link to the Energia site. If someone calls from Italy let me know! ;)
Ok the Dutch Trekkie club is willing to consider the article for their magazine if I can submit it in a word document (written in Dutch) together with piccies. Do I get some draft to translate from you guys or did I just get myself into trouble and gotta write it myself now? ;)
