Yeah, it was clear how you evolved current designs, think you did a great job:-) And not only the russians have created forward swept wing fighters, US tried to build one with the X-29, even german developers during ww2 experimented with it.
So in my mind the japanese are the perfect candidated to in the future,perfect it:-)
Have one suggesting for the british fighter, redesign the wings a bit. In my mind the wings are to long and straight for a modern aircraft, maked it look very old school compared to the other 2. Make em a tad shorter/wider and angled.
Or for fun use a double delta configuration of the wings:-)
I agreed with Stig-Magnus, in this case dogfights is an awesome scene...much better than bombing and firing the 'fire-forget' misiles. I designed these based on the most popular aircraft represents its country, and of course with unique and catchy design. (except for Japan i didnt know that were designed by Russians :D)
For American i make it based on their Lockheed design, and for the British is Harrier.
These ships can attack bigger transport ships while the faster ships can attack the nazi fighters.
Otherwise these ships can be sold to poorer or smaller nations so they can also join the fight.

I have to aggree with you michael realisticly, but in my opinion cool factor far superseeds reality for this movie.
If fighters will be a factor in this movie, i suspect there will be dogfighting up close and personal, not the fire and forget system we use now.why?because real dogfighting is a hell of a lot cooler, and cool designs will be something people remember.
And btw, the middle airplane design is a type that have been tested in reality several times and can achieve hypersonic speeds. lately in russias new exp fighter berkut.

These have a high cool factor and could be practical designs for subsonic aircraft, but they will not achieve hypersonic speeds. The airframes are the wrong shape and there is no sign of SCRAM jets.
I expect that the Nazi spacecraft will fight to gain air superiority at mach 6+ and altitudes well over 50,000 feet.
