That figure does sound exaggerative, indeed, considering the number of registered members at the forums.

Even many of those have been just spam bots or joined much later. Of course, not everyone involved has registered either.
I myself don't care which number the team is rolling out, but rather using even such a more moderate figure would sound more truthful.
