After a year of breathless anticipation Twitter has announced the first ever winner of its 'twit of the year' one sentence essay contest. The winner, 15 year old Egbert Whiteknight of Horseheads, NY, wins a $25.00 itunes gift card, an electroplated silver loving cup with his name engraved on it, and a $200.00 scholarship for the college or university of his choice. The subject of this year's contest was 'My dreams for the future'. The winning essay was, 'I'd like to strangle chickens for the Colonel.". No representatives of KFC were available by press time for comment on this story. |
