The problems in monetary system is the base of the movie, since that's where the root causes for messed up society comes from. I agree with Kallinen's thinking and of course there are way too many problems to fit into the movie.
We're still wating some ideas from other countries than Finland, since i hope this will be an uniting project for us Nordic people.

Thanks for the hint Ilkka!
Yrjö's speech was very enlightening. So, that other Nordics could understand too I decided to translate the second part of the interview where he talks about the mindlessness of capitalism, brainwashing and awakening: http://tinyurl.com/kallinen02
If other parts are needed, please do the transcribing in Finnish and I can translate to English.
Cheers,
Tomi
PS. Now I know who has been the real-life example for the Pasila police chief. :)

I think somebody also suggested this but parts of Finland's former secretary of defence Yrjö Kallinen's interview could also be used in the document: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-PLbQTOcMKY&feature=PlayList&p=89488C44C6C41A35&index=0
Smart man. =)

Oh yeah, one thing missing from the list is a comparison for different systems in the Nordics. There are some really good - down to earth - questions this brings out:
- How did Iceland go bankrupt? Now what? (Are they forced to EU?)
- Why didn't Norway join EU? What have been the implications?
- Why Finland was the only Nordic country to join Eurosystem? What have been the benefits and downsides?
- How European Central Bank compares to National Central Bank systems? Comparison between Sweden/Denmark (in EU, no Euro) to Finland (in EU, using Euro).
This is a juicy topic...

I guess one of the frequently asked questions is "This all looks fine but how do we get there" - so I guess there should be a lot of emphasis on the transition phase and different options for it, i.e. what's already being done in thezeitgeistmovement.com and elsewhere.

Antti, what do you mean? It's there - top left corner is Iceland...
Mikko, I didn't really know what you mean by the poster so I just drafted a suggestion. This is by no means final.

Iceland is one of the Nordic countries as well, by the way.
Now this is getting started well. Now we have a really neat poster, so just a bit brainstorming and planning to do. Then we can begin the real filmmaking.

That is looking awesome! We may need something more to make it fill the whole poster...
At the moment i was just trying to get something to fit the movie's picture:)
In time we may perhaps put something else there, like "Movie of the year", when it's finished and chosen to the best movie:)
