I have started working on the second draft and have found a direction for the story. I will still need help in further revisions, but for now thanks for the help everyone.

We follow this hot-headed guy while he has to escape the zombies through the forest, right? What you need is this: one group of zombies in particular makes us extra fed up with them. I mean, these fuckheads are insulting our guy and doesn't just do their thing, they're really mean and annoying and make it all personal. They've got a personality and are pure assholes. After that we'll take pure pride and joy in going back and making these dickheads flat once and for all. The machine, -the bigger the better.

New task: Concept art of the characters

What we need is ideas for the appearance of the hero, the bodyguard.

Here are somethings I had in mind...

-He is alone

-carries a leather case, with the Replicator machine inside it?

-Has an automatic rifle

-Heavy boots for stomping things.

-Possibly armor. Nothing super-thick.

-Clueless in the wild, needs help from gadgets of some sorts.

Thanks for the question. Genre is horror, where evil is lurking behind every tree and branch. I'm thinking that we go with a realistic 28 weeks later-style zombies who run fast and who are tough to kill. "Hot headed security guard" might have caused the impression of this being comedic. I am just thinking that a hot head, impulsive alpha male would be the one most likely to survive.

Oh, I like it! never dared to think that it could be used to add visual flare into the ending. Now Im imagining this laser/electric weapon some sort. What did you have in mind?
