In a small midwestern college, Jamie –a 19-year-old freshman, suffers from horrific visions of demons and murders. The nightmares grow in intensity until she is forced to seek help at the local hospital. She is surprised to find four other collegestudents with the exact same visions. They become friends and conclude that the visions are an omen of something bad about to happen. Scared of what that might be, they form a Pact, promising to always be by each other’s side.
The next night one of them is killed. They others share a dream that night, showing the killer: a demon trying to cross over to our world. It needs a body to possess and they have all been picked as suitable candidates. If you refuse the demon it will kill you.
The spend the night together trying to find a solution but as they fall asleep another member of the group dies.
The surviving members panic and Jamie decides to dissolve the group. Maybe the demon only can kill them if they are together they think and decide to leave for different cities. In the last minute Chris chooses to stay with her family. That night, the weak and scared Chris doesn’t dare oppose the demon when he seeks her out, and she is possessed.
Jamie, trying to eat at a bus stop somewhere, is again haunted by visions. She sees the suffering of Chris. She sees Aaron, who also fled town, rush back to help Chris. But worse – the Demon talks to her in the visions. Telling her that Jamie is the one he wants and won’t give up until she is possessed.
Terrorized, Jamie returns to face the demon and save her friends.
