Revisiting The Atomic Kids
Posted June 10, 2010 by Mental Eclectic 1 Thumb-up
I have decided to give this another try...the current process will be about creating the "vibe" and images that will help market the project online.
I will be making some executive decisions soon to move forward with. I will cast 6 actors who will take on these roles and who will create the art that the Atomic Kids will become famous for...
Watch as we experiment with the internet/filmmaking process.
The Atomic Kids to take on Beatles like storyline
Posted February 08, 2009 by Mental Eclectic 1 Thumb-up
Knowing that I wanted to add Beatle storylines into The Atomic Kids, I called my friend who is a Beatles "expert." I asked him to throw some lesser known Beatles excerts at me. After we spoke for awhile we decided to take a look at The Atomic Kids story line and intergrate the Beatles rise and fall storyline into the screenplay. So, I am now awaiting an outline so I can create the storlyine of The Atomic Kids. I am not planning a complete reenactment of the history of the Beatles but rather a kinship to their history. It won't be incredibly obvious but those in the know will see the references.
NEW CHARACTER THEMES
Posted February 03, 2009 by Mental Eclectic 1 Thumb-up
We have created the themes to the characters. I am now working on descriptions and hopefully will cast the main six in order to build an online presence.
Character Descriptions:
Girl 1: -The celebrity who becomes obsessed with their own image, using every moment to train themselves for their media career. She is an "internet" whore.
Girl 2: -The celebrity who becomes the victim of a stalker. Online, and eventual real life. Perhaps this person is throughout the film, kind of like the obsesses girl in law of attraction.
Girl 3: -More famous now that she is dead. This is thier friend who kills themself. Perfect.
Guy 1: -The celebrity who tries to ignore their fame and live a normal life, but keeps running into problems caused by fans.
Guy 2: -The least famous of the six. He becomes insecure with himself, yet he is talented in his own right. In the end his art rises as the others fall.
Guy 3: -The controversial celebrity whose every move is nothing more than attempts to getting attention.
