Hey, I'm now working primarily on getting the trailer and script done. It sound stupid / unordered, but I'm doing it for my Duke of Edinburgh's awards so I need to get the trailer done. I have been well on working with 3D (Blender) and I am already starting to get 40-50% of the props, as well as a Panasonic WV-F250E studio camera.
The 3D work done is actually quite good (surprisingly), and is not only the modelling, but also got particle effects and animation. Just need more variation in models.
ATM, for me, the most urgent things I need is a greenscreen (I will probably make one) and a 3D photorealistic model of the Reichstag (just the facade and gardens) in 1945.
Anyone who wants to help out is welcome, just PM me.
Due to a MASSIVE lack of time and money,
the Great British Army is on the backburner until August.
Whilst some scripting will continue, no real work will
be done on it.
The Great British Army > SFX > BLOOD MIST / PINK MIST by: Duncan Jinks
So, a friend comes over to help with ideas...
He brings a load of "party poppers" with him. (You know, little plastic upside down bottles that fire out streamer)
After stripping them down to just string and the paper wrapped charge, we place them in a coke bottle lid, with some red powder paint, and the string sticking out of a hole made in the lid.
Then, sticking a single ply of tissue over the top of the lid... we fire.
HUGE BANG
Red mist effect :)

The Great British Army > SFX > BLOOD MIST / PINK MIST This is more of a thread than a task....
Please just submit ideas and concepts of how to do SFX on computer and real life (in England), on the cheap.
I have posted a very grainy first attempt at muzzle flash for people to see...

Will be increasing quality on the actual one...

If anyone wants to make any usefull comments or has any good suggestions for me to add (us-russian comebacks, WW2 jokes, satrical history facts etc), then feel free, Thanks.

Right... So we've got some basic posters up... the current one is good, but... I WANT MORE! Put your photoshop skills into overdrive and make some posters people... anything you think will look good and would fit in with the synopsis/script.
