Star Wreck 2pi: Full Twist, now! > Outside picture for Pirk's court > Old National Gallery, Berlin by: Kalle Max Hofmann
Today the weather was really nice (sunshine and only -5°, hehhe) so I was finally able to make a photo of the Old National Gallery. I just discovered that the lens was a bit dirty, but you see it only in the sky so that shouldn't be to big of a problem...
I shot it with a Canon 5D so I can mail you the full-res photo as a JPG or CR2 file, whichever you like!
Cheers,
Kalle-Max ^_^

Anyway Thierry just asked me to put some Pirk banners in the picture, I guess then it's ready for use in the film :D

Brings back nice memories, I was visiting that place in 2002. I hope Thierry can use that one or part of it in the SW2Pi
Star Wreck 2pi: Full Twist, now! > Outside picture for Pirk's court > Old National Gallery, Berlin In the last scene Pirks judge Captain Stöcklin. We need an establishing shot for that. I have some I could go myself, but that's won't be possible for the next three month due to snow lying around.
The picture should be any kind of government building. Sometimes musuem or universities could also do it. Some where in the picture we want to add some P-Fleet flags.
If you deliver us a still photograph, be sure there are no people on it. Alternatively, you will have to make several one, so wa can remove the people.
For videoclips, 5-7 s are long enough.
Mind, Resolution should be 1920x1080.

Star Wreck 2pi: Full Twist, now! > Outside picture for Pirk's court > "Museum Island" in Berlin? by: Kalle Max Hofmann
I could take some photos at the Museumsinsel in Berlin, looking like this:

What do you think, too classical? Unfortunately, the weather isn't too great here either, but maybe I can pull some pics from last summer out of a previous project's archive. But if the buildings look too old for you, I don't need to bother ;D

We don't need it right now, so take your time. I have enough to do...

Looks great. And we should not forget that Pirk has a very bad taste when it comes to design question.
Star Wreck 2pi: Full Twist, now! | Status October 2011 As intended the movie production is going slower than planned, but we're still on schedule for the premiere next year's sommer.
No status for a long time, not that we're not working on the movie. We are doing it every day for several hours, with job and other stuff next to it.
**3D Effects**
Most 3D effects have already been rendered, but some serious battle scene remain to be animated and rendered.
Also the final crash is still to do. For that we will have to buy Vue xStream to be able to generate CGI landscape. This will be more flexible and cheap than renting a helicopter.
**Compositing**
Most shots have been recomposed, and are getting their final backgrounds these days. Also some backgrounds still need to be modelled.
**Music**
Star Wreck:ItP Composer Tapani Siirtola will compose the music for Star Wreck 2pi.
**Reviewings**
The movie has been reviewd by several people including Samuli and Timo.
While the middle and the end of the movie tend to be apreciated by everybody, and has little critic, we get completely different opinions on the begin of the movie, so this part will require some more editing.
**Media Coverage**
Since this major weakness of that project, no media has ever cared for it. It's time to change that. Maybe you here at WAM could tipp off some medias or blog about it.
**Premiere**
It will be in sommer next year, few months after Iron Sky. People from the team have been informed when it's going to be.
**Some screen shots**

by the way, why don't you use one of the new posters as the production image... this might attract some more wreckers :D
