Mostly added a few sight gags to this draft, and tightened up the dialogue a bit. This is the final draft, so at long last we can move forward. Regarding the hotly debated "boobs and goo" ending: I've decided to leave it in. It's logically motivated, as the only way to combat a boredom creature is by creating excitement. And as my Groupsite team member John Oakley pointed out: "...if it's done right, it could be very funny. You don't even have to show anything -- could be a view from behind as the women 'flash' everyone, with everything expressed as reactions." Next up: creating an assets library of still and video clips, extracted from the Star Trek Animated Series DVDs. Then, creating a storyboard. I'm going to get an library started over at the Groupsite page.

About the ending, for me personally it was that the rest of the script was so verbal and witty, whereas the ending seemed more like a "gross-out" kind of comedy style.
Sort of like being at a classical concert and the last performance is death metal, they're both potentially good genres if they're done correctly, but it is weird to see them unexpectedly mixed right at the end. :)
The other alternative is to imply something without showing it. For example the ending of Clerks is absolutely revolting but it is never shown directly, so it fits the witty style of the rest of the film.
But you're the boss, you go with what you think is right. And as I said in my original shot, this is a very amusing script. I hope you'll be able to find all the material you need!
